A conference on the future of the metropolitan area of Barcelona was held June 6-8, 2010 at the Center for Contemporary Culture in Barcelona, Spain.  Tim Campbell's plenary presentation reviewed the challenges of metropolitan governance in cities around the world, and outlined strategies to accelerate discovery of new ideas outside Spain as well as inside Barcelona.
